Cybersecurity Law (3 credits)
This online course will cover the legal/regulatory issues surrounding cyber security law. The topics covered will include the relevant law governing such cybersecurity issues as cybercrime, espionage, cyber theft and related topics. Furthermore, in consideration of new and emerging technologies, this course will consider how professionals can mitigate cyber-risk by utilizing available legal options. The course will cover the fundamentals of cyber security, including legal prevention mechanisms and legal remedies for breaches.
