Information for Employers

There are a variety of ways in which the School of Law Career Services Office can assist employers interested in recruiting law students or graduates:

Job Postings
We post positions online for our students and graduates on a secure Web site. We also post positions on a job board at the School of Law, and we publish an alumni newsletter each month that contains that month’s attorney postings.

If you would like to post an advertisement for a law clerk or associate attorney position, you may send the ad to us via facsimile at (313) 596-9832 or via e-mail to cooperdf@udmercy.edu. If you do not have an ad prepared, please call Dorothy Cooper at (313) 596-0223 to request a Notification of Position form. This form requests all of the information we will need to create an ad on your behalf.

Resume Collect
If you would prefer that the CSO conduct a candidate search and collect application materials that would be sent to you in a batch (rather than having applicants apply directly), please let us know.  

On-Campus Interviews
The School of Law hosts on-campus interview in the fall (for upperclass students) and in the spring (for first-year and upperclass students). If you are interested in receiving information regarding on-campus interviewing, please contact the Career Services Office at (313) 596-0223.
