Administrative Services serves the School of Law on a variety of levels.  The administrative assistants provide administrative support to all members of faculty.  Below is a list of common support services offered with some useful information to increase accuracy and efficiency.  Each faculty member is assigned (link provides assignment) to either Mr. Williams or Ms. Chapman as their administrative assistant, but should one not be available, anyone in the department can assist you.  Mrs. White serves as the administrative support for all adjunct professors and the primary contact for copying and mail services.

Copying:
Please fill out this form and leave with Administrative Services for copying jobs.  Make sure the form is complete and accurate to avoid inaccurate and wasteful copies.

Outgoing Mail:

Please leave mail in outgoing mail bin.  Please make sure your department is clearly indicated to ensure proper accounting.
If your mail is of personal nature, please deliver it in person to Administrative Services and be prepared to pay for the postage (Cash or Check).  We will allow for a monthly payment of personal mail; however, failure to pay for your personal mail will result in loss of privilege.  Students must pay for mail service at the time it is used.
The University of Detroit Mercy is contracted with UPS for express mail service as well as any parcels.  The University will not pay for any delivery using Federal Express.  The Administrative Services department has been trained on how to use UPS tracking and on-line services.

Incoming Mail:
All mail that is addressed to the School of Law without any department or individual named will be opened by Administrative Services to expedite proper delivery.  Please try to remove all items from your mailbox on a regular basis as they tend to fill.

Canadian resident students can receive their U.S. mail at the School of Law, but must check their mail frequently.  There is limited space for storage.  Administrative Services will not be responsible for any parcels and mail that are not picked up in a timely manner.

The following services are provided exclusively by the director of Administrative Services:
