David Campbell is a 2004 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy  School of Law’s J.D./LL.B.Joint Degree Program.  David is an associate with the law firm of Bowman & Brooke LLP in the Troy, MI office.  He has grown his practice to focus on defending corporate clients in the areas of product liability, motor vehicle warranty, toxic torts, and commercial litigation.  He recently served as national safety belt discovery counsel for a major automobile manufacturer and is currently regional litigation counsel for a national retailer.

Through his efforts as a judicial intern for the Michigan Supreme Court and a law clerk for the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission, David's litigation savvy is complemented by a strong understanding of the appellate realm and professional ethics.

A true international lawyer, David is also licensed as a barrister and solicitor with the Law Society of Upper Canada, where he currently serves as solicitor of record in commercial and ATV product liability litigation.  Preparing cases for trial across North America, David has developed a strong understanding of state, provincial, and federal law and procedure within multiple jurisdictions.

Dedicated to serving the community, David is a volunteer mediator with Wayne County Mediation Services in commercial, domestic, special education, and probate matters.  In addition to his pro-bono work, David recently completed a four-year term as a member of the Lakeshore Police Services Board.
