Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition for the 2008-09 school year is $30,210 for full-time day students (this is a flat-rate tuition).  Part-time students pay $1007 per credit hour.  At that rate, tuition for 2008-09 is $24,168 for extended day and regular evening students and $17,119 for extended evening students. The 2008-09 cost of attendance is available from Financial Aid.

The School of Law and private agencies offer need-based, service-based, and academic scholarships and awards. UDM awards institutional scholarships to selected first-year students based on academic performance. Upperclass students may apply for and receive scholarships and awards that require them to demonstrate achievement in a particular field, participate in an extracurricular activity, or maintain a high quality grade point average.

April 1 is the early deadline to apply for financial aid for the following academic year. Applicants are encouraged to apply for financial aid at the same time they apply to law schools and before April 1 to avoid any delays in the award process. UDM sends all applicants its institutional financial aid application. The federal application is available after January 1 of each year. For more information on Financial Aid at the School of Law, visit our Financial Aid website.

The UDM Financial Aid Application and Instructions are also available to download from our Financial Aid website.
