Career Opportunities Spotlight: Detroit Mercy Law student interested in pursing career in construction law
Joshua Wilk ’23 will begin working at Clark Hill PLC as a summer associate in May 2022, a position he landed through On-Campus Interviews. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to gain experience in a practice area that aligns with my past experiences while being able to work in downtown Detroit,” Wilk explained.
“I hope to fully immerse myself in the construction industry to carve out a niche practice area within it. I am eager to utilize the full -service nature of Clark Hill to learn from different practice areas and teams to solve complex issues across a variety of different industries,” Wilk commented. “I am eager to learn how to be a professional from the inspiring individuals at Clark Hill, and to be able to transfer the skills I have learned throughout my undergraduate and graduate years to a practical and real-world situation.”
At Detroit Mercy Law, Wilk is a junior member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates. During Summer 2021, Wilk was a judicial extern at both the Michigan Supreme Court and the 16th Circuit Court.
